API Integration to generate PDF

I am trying to do. In D365F&O We need to generate a PDF. Data is coming from API, we need to generate directly without storing API data in Dynamics. Please suggest me any possible approach.

    The easiest way will be creating a report and using a PDF file as the print destination. You said you don't want to save the data in F&O, but I'm assuming you need to use some data or logic in F&O (otherwise there would be no point in doing the whole thing inside F&O).

    I can't comment on the whole implementation, because I know very little about your requirements.
     
    If you're not familiar with reports in F&O, forgot web services and such things for a moment and focus on reports. You'll need to decide whether it meets your requirements or not. If so, create a simple report working as a proof of concept. Let us know if you struggle with get it done.
     
    When you know that you want to use a report and you have one, we can start talking about how to call it through integration.
