Is there anyway to deactivate a financial dimension in d365 finance and operation ? thanks

Hi @Brahim Oubaha,

You can deactivate a financial dimension from the following path General ledger - Chart of accounts - Dimensions - Financial dimension:

Select the Dimension that you want to deactivate, then click on dimension values, then you can deactivate the values that you want.

Hi Waed thanks for your reply, however, I am trying to deactivate or delete the financial dimension not the value

Hi @Brahim Oubaha,

Click on Dimension values, then you can set the active from and active to, based on your situation.

this is only blocking for using the value but not deactivating the financial dimension

Hi, You may remove from the account structure but this operation needs to e done carefully.
