Good morning, afternoon, or evening :) depending on your location!

The syntax error in your formula appears to be due to incorrect usage of brackets and parentheses, as well as a potential misunderstanding of how the IFISEMPTY function works. Let me walk you through the adjustments step by step.
Here's a corrected approach for handling the empty list case:

    IF(
        ISBLANK(model.PositivePayTransactions),
        " ",
        model.PositivePayTransactions.'Vendor Address'
    )

    Key Points:
    1. Function Names: Ensure you're using the correct function for the context. In Power Platform, ISBLANK or ISEMPTY checks if a list or value is empty.
    2. Syntax Structure:
      • The IF function generally follows the format IF(Condition, Value_If_True, Value_If_False).
      • Use commas (,) to separate arguments instead of braces ({) or other symbols.
    3. Handling Empty Lists:
      • If the model.PositivePayTransactions list is empty (ISBLANK or ISEMPTY), provide an alternative value like " ".
      • Otherwise, retrieve the 'Vendor Address' field.
    Explanation:
This formula checks if model.PositivePayTransactions is empty. If it is, it outputs a space (" "). If not, it retrieves the 'Vendor Address' field.
If you still encounter issues, check:
    • The actual function names and syntax required for your specific environment (e.g., Power Automate, Power Apps, etc.).
    • Any specific data binding settings that might affect the formula.

    Hope this helps!

    Hi,

You are missing a parentheses after the first ....vendor address') - this is also what the error message says.

If you wanna learn more about a function you can also access MS learn quite easily

    Kind regards, Adis
