Transfer customer to another entity

We are merging 2 entity into 1 entity. CLC and CEI. All CLC customer need to go to CEI entity. I look at the option of the DIFX, but it is not working because they have same number sequence. So customer c000001 is already in CEI. I need all the customer to be add with new number sequences.

I'm wondering is there is a easier way than creating csv and reimport with difx.

Hi alzelus,

If you want to have the same customer with different number sequence, cant you just change the number sequence and import in CEI LE?

All you need to do is, you need to manually change the number sequence in data entity and keep the number sequence to manual an d import it.

Hi alzelus,

If some customer accounts are identical, why would you need to bring them over to CEI?

Can you simply transfer their open balance from CLC to CEI?
