On certain products, the route card is not automatically generated when a production order for that product is started. The pick list is generated, but neither the route card nor a quality order is generated. This is only happening on some products. I'm not sure if the problem is stemming from the route, operation, or product setup.
Some things you could check:
1. verify the production order has route steps
2. check if the route group is different for that route
3. check route version FromQty field
4. check start settings in log, what is the "Automatic route consumption" setting on the offending start?

Thanks for the response.
1. The route has one operation associated with it.
2. The route group is "blend" and other items that have this same route group (different route and operation) do not have this issue.

We tried to run the production order again and the route card populated. Thanks!
Check the start settings of the user who started the production order. Make sure his start settings dont have "Automatic route consumption" set to Never
