Updating Template within Teams

I am creating onboarding templates for a few specific roles across multiple teams that have the same core functionalities, but are each slightly nuanced.

With that nuance, my question is, if I have a procurement representative role template that is within each team, and a team (or several) update that template, will that update change all the templates within different teams?

My goal is to have each team to use the same position template core, but to have them edit it to fit their specific team without it changing other teams copies of that template. Is this possible?

Otherwise I will have to create as many templates as there are teams and roles so each team has there own.

Let me know if I need to provide any other detail.

    Hi John,

    I assume you are talking about the templates within the onboard app.  

    If so, your statement is correct.

    • You can create a template and maintain activities, resources and contact persons;
    • Once you are onboarding a new employee, you can create the guiide for the employee, based on the template;
    • The guide for the employee will be created, and you can adjust the guide for that specific employee.. 
    • Updating the guide for the employee, will not change the saved template.

    Templates. The templates that contain activities, contact, and resources that are then turned into specific guides for new associates.

    Please specify, if you are working on onboarding templates in Onboard, onboarding checklists or something else?
