Hello,

Has anyone expirience this problem my sales order form at times displays the wrong information even though the data in the database is correct. Other times in certain fields are blank even though there's is data in the database. I ran a test from 1 AOS to another and AOS. By creating a new session and 1 AOS is correct the other is not?

Does anyone have expirience with the caching mechanism used by the AOS?

HI, are there any mods on the concerned (salesTable) forms?? try deleting the user aoc and see if it helps.. else you might need to make some code changes on the machine you are having this issue: go to C:\Documents and Settings\UserID\local settings\application data (if you cant see the above folders, ten try showing hidden files). close dynamics ax client (if you have it open) delete all .aoc files now reopen dynamics ax and check if its ok. hope this helps. let us know if you have any more questions. regards, Mohammed Rasheed www.dynamic-ax.co.uk

I've also ran into a similar issue lately in AX4 SP2..

I created a new field in ProjTable and ran a class to populate this record in all fields of the table. So when exploring the data in the table, I could see that the field was filled up for all records..

However, in one of the forms in my installation I test this field when a record is changed, and while debugging I could see that the system was reading this field as blank ("").

I checked I was using select * so all fields were selected.. I also deleted the caché(.aoc files), but the record was still reading blank..

Finally I had to load up the full table again, and records started reading well.. Hope doesn't happen again.. this behaviour is quite scary!!

Try clearing out your usage data if it happens again.  Often making changes on forms (whether it is via morphx or x++) can cause unexpected results if you don't clear out the usage data.
