Search is not visible after AX 2012 R3 new installation

Hi all,

I am new in Dynamics AX world and start to learn it recently. I have just successfully installed several AX components and login to the application. But, I can not find any Search bar on the top part of my AX UI (After compared it with VM from Microsoft which the Search bar has already there). Please help on this matter.

FYI, I have installed the Enterprise Search, BDC Service has started, and Sharepoint Search also running. I have also successfully configured the "Search Configuration".

Thank you in advance.

Kind regards,

Karel

    Hi Vasudev,

Thank you for the answer. Now, the Search bar can appear in my UI.

Next, I input the url address with "http://<ServerName>/sites/DynamicsAXClientSearch/_vti_bin/search.asmx". Unfortunately, whenever I input something on the Search bar, it always return error "The service returned the following error: There was no endpoint listening at http://<ServerName>/sites/DynamicsAXClientSearch/_vti_bin/search.asmx that could accept the message. This is often caused by an incorrect address or SOAP action. See InnerException, if present, for more details."

    Is there something I've missed?

    Kind regards,

    Karel
