I am looking for a way to affect the Cost if of the item by the line discount,
example
| Item Code | Unit Price | Discount Amount |
| IT0001 | 1000 | 100 |
I need to record the cost of the item by the net cost 1000-100=900

Hy,
you just need to add the discount value in the discount field of the purchase order line, may be the "discount" column needs to be inserted first at the line detail table. You can see the value also at the "Price and discount" tab.
The values will go also to the invoice and then to the item cost
