Hello all,
I am facing an issue while trying the OCR functionality to capture expense receipt details. I have gone through all necessary steps mentioned in Capture a receipt using OCR | Microsoft Docs and am working on Tier - 2 UAT environment as required for this functionality to work.
Although I tried to use the simplest and very clear image of receipt, it comes back with following error messages.
Has anyone come across this issue? Am I missing any set-up?

Suggest you to raise a tick with Microsoft. This may require the support of the Azure AI team.
Can you try with any receipt from internet i mean e-invoice?

Thanks for your response. I have not configured e-invoice on my environment. Is this a pre-requisite for the OCR to work?

I have raised a ticket with MS. Initial investigation didn't reveal why the functionality doesn't work as the case worker confirmed that it was set-up correctly. This has been escalated to engineering team to look into deeper. Will post again if and when a issue is identified.

Heard from MS support. The issue is caused by a bug as articulated in report below. Fix is scheduled for 10.0.25, but MS support is trying to backport it to 10.0.24.

Update: The fix released by MS in 10.0.25 didn't solve the issue. They have gone back to the drawing board.
