Dynamics 365 menu items not shown in Italian

Can some one please advise.

I have created a set of tables and forms with a set of new display menu items.

I have extended the products and management menu and added the new menu items.

I have created label file in US English and Italian. The menu items in English show correctly but  when I change my user settings to Italian they are shown in English and not Italian. The forms show the Italian translations correctly when opened.

    yes I have reviewed this post.

    All the forms show the labels correctly in Italian only the menu items are not shown in Italian. They are shown in English only!

    the labels files do exist in the location you mentioned and the label translations are shown correctly in all the forms. Only the menu items are not shown in Italian.

    I have done a rebuild of all the models and the menu items are still not shown in Italian.

    Any idea what could be causing this issue?

    Hello Norman Elliott - Malta,

    Check this thread. Maybe there will be a solution there. To me it was very important to distinguish between different approaches with label files and to follow the procedure exactly (build, sync, iisreset etc.).

    I reviewed the thread and I have tried everything mentioned but still no joy. i.e. the menu items show OK in English but not in Italian

    Any idea why problem occurs?

    Hi Add,

    just to let you know that the menu items are now shown in Italian. I needed to select the language it-IT in the language settings. Oddly this option is not listed alphabetically in the list of languages, but is shown at the end of the list!

    In any case the menu items are shown correctly in Italian and always could be if the language it-IT is selected.
