addLookupMethod from method in Extension table class

Hi all,

I'm create a lookup that show some field from PurchTable, one of them is a display method I create new on extension class but it dont show data(column 4), standard method is work (column 5).

please correct me if I missing something.

    What if you debug your method? Is it getting executed?

    I would first remove all logic from the method, just returning 1000 and checking if the method call itself is working or not.

    The method on extension class not jump to while debug.

    as attachment, I return 1000 but dropdown list not show data.

    So this class uses SysDictMethod to work with method you add and, as far as I know, it has no idea about extension methods. So it is obviously a bug and you need to file it so MS can fix it. Meanwhile you can extend addMethodControl() method of SysTableLookupBase class. You have to use new metadata API http://dev.goshoom.net/en/2016/11/new-metadata-api/ instead of SysDictMethod  but this is not an easy task.

    Interesting enough in PU15 sysdictmethod knows about extension methods but returns name that won't work in this scenario. So it's definitely a bug and you need to file it.

    is this issue fixed? Has someone file a bug for it?
