Can we have 2 or more active positions for a single employee?

can we have one employee working on a position in a entity and same employee working as a different position on a different entity?.

If we are doing an integration with a third party then how can we identify if any changes happen to an employee regarding report to position, position name or legal entity, what should be our indicator for that.

    Hi Ayushi,

    Yes, Employee can work on 2 or more position across different legal entities.

    For each of these functionalities you mentioned, there is a separate table for tracking this.

    You need to track that table to get the information.

    Hi Ayushi, Single employee can have employment in multiple legal entities. We can add different positions, however only one position can be primary at a time.

    Regarding identifying if any changes happen, if for auditing purpose then enable database log for these fields and if for Integration purpose then you can create customization on update method of the tables and check if these field values are changed.

    Position is not company specific. It is a global one. So don't bother about adding multiple position to employees across different legal entities.
