Fixed asset

Hi,

When I'm purchasing new fixed asset item it is a furniture. after same-days item will be used in plant with machinery. In this case I have to transfer this fixed asset has a plant and machinery item.

How to transfer this item..? (furniture and fixtures item to Plant and machinery item)

    Do you mean to say changing the posting group from Furniture to Plant and Machinery ???

    There are no any functionality on NAV to transfer fixed asset item in to general Item card 

    what you have to do is just create a new item in your Item card as you want and do the processes  

    And the existing item in your fixed asset Card : you can either bock or inactive the item form your FA card

    If you have no problem even you can delete from FA card

    Yes                                                                                                                   When I'm purchasing the item its a table and I ll book it in to furniture group but after same times table will be in plat. people will use that table with machine. in this case i have to transfer this item in to plat & machinery item. How to do this...

    Furniture if used by plant and machinery or accounts dept or purchase dept or any other dept will be treated as furniture and fixture.

    You can use dimension to identify where it is being used.

    Can you elaboratr more what do you mean by transfer and Why do you want to transfer from one group to another?
