Sorry. I thought on NAV2013R2. Now I see from your pictures, you use NAV2013 (without R2). There isn't exist this field on your version.

In earlier version, I use some customization. I made Negative Inventory control on User Setup and used this control when I try to post negative inventory.

Am I missing something here, below is the page and table for Inventory Setup but it seems like there is no Prevent Negative Inventory field.

The selection that is made for all items in Microsoft Dynamics NAV is indicated by the Default (Yes) or Default (No) value. You can change the default setting by selecting another value in this field on individual item cards.

To set the default setting that applies to all items, select the Prevent Negative Inventory check box in the Inventory Setup window.

Hi Jatin thanks for the reply if I disable the stock out warning the system will allow the user to encode quantities that will result to negative inventory on item. But the request is to restrict the system for negative inventory.

Hi Aleksandar is the  'Prevent Negative Inventory' is a additional field that I must create? Is there no standard feature or setup for this? If that is the case lot coding to be done right? Correct me if I'm wrong with this, table to be customized are Sales Line, Transfer Line, Item Journal Line, Warehouse Journal Line that possibly will cause negative Inventory on item.

If you want to restrict posting negative inventory and stockout warning, you need to make configuration as Jatin said and configure 'Prevent Negative Inventory' as 'No' on items. You will get negative posting restriction and without stockout warning message.

    To eliminate stockout warnings

In the Search box, enter Sales & Receivables Setup, and then choose the related link.

On the General FastTab, clear the Stockout Warning field.
