Hello experts,

I have a D365 Portal linked to a Website.

Is there any solution to duplicate / clone my Website in the same instance ? To have something like "Partner Portal 1" and "Partner Portal 2" ?

Thanks a lot.

I have the same question (0)

I'd say you are better off first provisioning the new Portal, and then you can export your data even using Advanced Find.. change the Web Site reference and re-import, remember for Web Pages you need to deactivate the plugin on the create event

a few entities you might not be able to import.. Web Links / Metadata for entity form/web form.. this is because your Web Link Set and Web Form/Entity form will be duplicate and you won't be able to match on the import

may I ask why you want to duplicate your website in the same instance?

    Hello Partner,

You cannot have 2 portal linked to same Org but you can switch portal between instance, below link will give you some inputs.

Thanks a lot for your reply.

We have a CDS environment with Dynamics 365, we have 2 portal addons, and we want to duplicate our Website (already linked to the 1st addon), and make some modifications on it (adding some functionalities and new style), and after that configure the 2nd addon with 2nd Website. Like that we will have 2 published portals (old and new one) published in the same time.

sounds like one of the websites should be in the Sandbox/Dev environment

that's where your modifications should take place

    I found a solution here : www.itaintboring.com/.../

But this tool doesn't copy the webfiles notes. So for that you have to use the XRMToolBox tool : "Portal 365: Web Files and Site Settings synchronizer".
