hi all

can anyone advise if i can add a field for the sales order total value in the Invoice posting program? i know i can press the total button, but this isnt very practical when reviewing batch jobs containing hundreds of sales orders

    Hi Mal,

    You can explore how the calculation is done on the Totals form. It used a class to calculate multiple values.

    You can call the same logic and put fields on your form.

    However... it will definately decrease the performance of your form as it will try to calculate for all sales orders loaded on the form. Probably you can see if part of the calculation logic can be used to minimize the performance penalty.

    Hi mal,

    Usually a developer should do this. At least you need to have the skills and knowlegde.
