Posted on by 4

I am facing an error while opening the configure data source tile in data management in D 365 F and O UAT(Sandbox) environment.

If I tried to create a new record I am facing following error.

session 3939 (praveetha)

INSERT INTO DMFSTAGINGERRORCODE (DESCRIPTION,ERRORCODE,LABELID,RECVERSION,PARTITION,RECID) VALUES (?,?,?,?,?,?)

[Microsoft][ODBC Driver 17 for SQL Server][SQL Server]String or binary data would be truncated in table 'db_d365opsprod_aspuat_ax_20231018_02040218_a62d.dbo.DMFSTAGINGERRORCODE', column 'LABELID'. Truncated value: '@DMF:ColumnDel'.

Object Server Azure:

Cannot create a record in Staging error (DMFStagingErrorCode).

Error code: DMF1999, Column delimiter not found error. The SQL database has issued an error.

Cannot edit a record in Source data formats (DMFDataSource). The record has never been selected.

Can anyone help me to sort out?

    Hi Shanmugapriya,

Does the form with Source data formats have existing records that came during the deployment of the environment? Are you using a cloud environment or an on-premises environment? If it is in the cloud and you don't have customizations, I would suggest logging an incident to Microsoft Support.

    Hi,
There is no customization and no custom entity. It's a standard one. Its working fine in Dev environment. Only Facing issue in UAT and PROD environment.

    Thanks,

    Hi,
Is there any customization involved? Might need to debug it to find out exactly what's going on. Also, you can look at the issue similar to yours and check if that helps. Custom Entity - Results. Cannot edit a record in [Entity label] ([EntityAOTName]). The record has never been selected. (dynamics.com)
    Best Regards,
    Hana

    Hi Layan,
              Thanks for the reply.
We already did the re-deployment of the package. Still same error.

    Thanks,

    Hi Shanmugapriya,

Was there a recent update to UAT? Maybe try to re-deploy the package.

    Thanks,
