Hello,

We created two business processes flow in opportunity, one of them converts leads to opportunities and other starts just in opportunity.

We need to check active business process flow and active stage, witch are on opportunity now. And we need to create list of opportunities with checked them active business process flow and active stage.

We know how to look active business process flow and active stage individually in the opportunity record, but it does not fit. We need to check this in the all opportunities without opening records.

Maybe there is some field in which the active business process flow is stored?
Can we use some system functional for this goal?

    Hello Leah,

    Thank you for advice.

This BPFs (in your screen) have not different stages and field Pipeline Phase can show Stages, which can be on both BPFs.

In my case I have 4 BPFs with diferent Stages.

Your unswer is useful.  But unfortunately I think in my case could be better use code for showing active stage and active bpf.

    Best regards,

    Anna Melnychenko

    Hello Kalpana!

    Thank you for your answer.

It's real good idea, we will try to realize this.

I think it's can be useful if we have two or more BPFs with different stages.

    Best regards,

    Anna Melnychenko

    Hi Anna Melnychenko,

If you want to see the active stages of the opportunity then instead of finding it in the opportunity table. Find them in the business process flow table.

If you have two business process flows then create a Dashboard with two list views or charts and solve your problem instead of adding a new column, logic etc. These are my thoughts.

    Hi Partner,

Through my test, i found that 'Pipeline Phase' field can show active stage of current BPF.

Thank you very much for your answer.

It`s really useful information about checking Stages of BPF.

Do you know what we need to do with this field when we have two or more BPFs?

I think this field can show information about Stages only one BPF.

Maybe we need to sett some process.

    Hi Partner,

In Opportunity, we can use the OOB "Pipeline Phase" field:

When an opportunity moves through the stages of its business process flow, the pipeline phase is set to a value in the form of {StageCategoryIndex} - {CategoryName}.

--You can 'Edit columns' to add the column to the opportunity view:

But it's hard to check current active BPF on the view.

Maybe you need create one custom field on the opportunity, then use js code to populate the field automatically.

    var process = formContext.data.process.getName();

Thank you for your answer, but we know about these tables and field "Active Stage".

    pastedimage1676484758220v1.png

For example, we should have some field on the view, which shows Active BPF in opportunities.

And our question is: How to fill this field or we have system field for this goal?

    Thank you in advance!

    Hi Anna Melnychenko ,

With each business process flow (BPF), there is an associated table. You have two BPFs which means two tables.

These tables are having details of the active stage and association of the table on which it is working. For more details: learn.microsoft.com/.../business-process-flows-overview
