Prevent negative inventory for specific locations

good afternoon,

I would like to prevent negative inventory for only certain locations. I know that there's the flag in the "Inventory Setup" that works for all the locations. I also know that warehouse shipments check the inventory in any case (I tried to post a whse shipment created from a transfer order with the flag "Prevent Negative Inventory" switched off but I couldn't post it anyway since there was no inventory for that specific item). Eventually, if I use lot and serial numbers, the reservations should help to avoid mistakes related to negative inventory even with the flag switched off.

My question is: is it complex to create a custom flag on the location card, so I can choose which locations can have negative inventory and which not?

thanks in advance

Federico
