Hi All,
I am having this error while generating budget plan from general ledger, I cross checked all steps, budget plan is in process and responsibility center is also finance ,kindly can anyone provide any solution why i am having this error, "The selection criteria that were used did not include any records to generate. Update the selection criteria, and then try again"

You do not have permission to create a budget plan for the budgeting organization Finance. Select another budgeting organization to use.

Please check Budget planning configuration parameters and select "Allow access to budget plans by user group" and then check if your user account is connected to a active employee.

I connected my use name and assign budget manager role , still I am having this issue

I have researched this and I have found a similar error message when you are generating budget planning from general ledger selecting total accounts. This issue was resolved in version 10.0.20. So if you are trying to generate budget plan lines from total accounts and your version is lower than 10.0.20, upgrade to that version or higher.
In case this is not your scenario, I found that it could be due to data in the LEDGERALLOCATETRANS, fiscalcalendaryear and fiscalcalendarperiod tables is not correct in your database. So I think you will need to create a support case to research further.
