Hi,

While importing data into Ax ( AX 2012 R3 CU10), I am getting a warning "File or Entity XXX is having 1 error" and " For additional warnings or errors, please check the log". When I click on "For additional warnings or errors, please check the log" on the infolog message, it is throwing the below error instead of showing me the details:

" Could not process the lookupRecord value on the Args instance. The table 'DMFDefinitionGroupEntity' does not exist as a root FormDataSource for the form 'DMFStagingLogDetails'.

But,I am able to check the staging log error form using the form button"Staging log details".

Has anybody ever faced this error before?

Hi Arnab

Its a bug in CU10 connected to "Edit" button on infolog. If you will compare SysInfoAction_MenuFunction class syp and sys layer you will find 1 new line that broke it. I have not seen hotfix for this but you probably can look at LCS.

Hi Arnab,

Please use the correct version tag. You are using AX2012. The current version is also known as AX7. I have corrected it for you.

Can you indicate when you get this error? Is it on source to staging, staging to target, target to staging or staging to source?

It’s from source (CSV file) to staging.

Hi Arnab.

Did you solve your problem? I got exactly the same one, but I did a trace and found that the problem is in the following classes\DMFStagingwriter\showpreview at line 383

It try to return some info from the framework but it returns a null value and crash.

if(_entityTypes !=DMFEntityTypes::CompositEntity)
{
returnRec = dmfEntityProxy.ShowPreview(dMFEntity);

Have anyone solve this? it only happend with the "Entity" type?

The CU10 update of the class: SysInfoAction_MenuFunction method: runHelper() did indirectly create a bug.

However Microsoft has provided a fix for the form: DMFStagingLogDetails

I have deployed this to an AX2012 R3 CU10 environment and successfully resolved the issue.

Is there a syp layer version of the form: DMFStagingLogDetails.

The init method should have the code fix.
