Hi Friends,

We have MS D365 F&O in on premises with Installed product version: 10.0.15. We have an issue while posting Sales, Purchase, and transfer order Shipment. It gives the below error during invoice posting.

"Field 'Transaction date' must be filled in."

Note; Invoice is getting post if we put the date format as 12-12-2020 but not posting with date 20-12-2020.

Also, set the below settings under User Options--> Preferences.

Date, time, and number format - en-IN

Country/region - (GMT+05:30) Chennai, Kolkata, Mumbai, New Delhi

Time zone - IND

Language - en-US

Please help to resolve this issue. Due to this, we are not able to move the latest service update in a production environment.

Hi Nitin,

How is the date/time/number format defined in your D365FO user options and how is it defined on your local PC?

Can you share some screenprints?

Thanks for your inputs.

I have verified and it's already disabled. Refer to the below snapshot.

The problem is I can Post the invoice in format (12/12/2020), but not in (13/12/2020).

It seems the issue is with the date format only.

Were you able to resolve this issue?

Do you have any customizations around this process?

If the issue is still persisting I would recommend opening a new incident with Microsoft.

Hi Todd,

Thanks for the suggestion.

The problem is not yet resolved and it's in the Sandbox Environment.

Yes, we have done some customization, but it's on hold till further communication.

This error has been resolved after updating of Service Update Installed product version: 10.0.17 (10.0.761.10019), Installed platform version: Update41 (7.0.5934.35741)
