Workflow execution error

Hi all

We do have a problem executing a workflow for Vendor Invoice approval. The error-message unfortunately is in german and looks like this:

X++ Exception: Fehler beim Erstellen einer Sitzung. Stellen Sie sicher, dass der Benutzer über die erforderlichen Berechtigungen zur Anmeldung bei Microsoft Dynamics verfügt.

User starting the request has sufficent rights, batchuser running the WF batchjob has sysadmin rights. So what can be the problem. In our Test/Stage System the error does not appear

    Hello CRSW,

    Have you tried with a different user starting the workflow?

    Maybe a colleague can check if he/she can start the workflow without an error message?!

    Recommend you to take a trace and start from there. Trace might show you which user id is engaged and why it threw out the error message.

    Do approvers in your workflow have sufficient rights to the action menu items of approval? (i.e. do they have rights to approve, deny, reject, request change?)

    Try giving them admin access and see if the error occurs again. If it doesn't, that probably means issue was related to access.
