My new client want to do in following scenario in dynamics NAV.
* Automatic reservation in sales order
* LOT tracking on all items.
then,
* We create new sales order including item A with 150 PCS.
* Assume we have enough inventory & system automatically reserve 150 PCS from the inventory.
* When post sales order (Shipment) system says assign LOT number.
* Now store keeper assign LOT no's for 150 PCS.
*Assume 6 LOT assigned for 150 PCS. (Store keeper has to have freedom to assign any lot no of item A from available inventory.)
When post system give error messages & it says the conflicting of reservation & LOT tracking.
Please share your idea about above scenario.
I read manual & it says in such scenario do LOT tracking first & then reserve manually. If it is only solution we have to do business process re-engineering. We would like to get your idea before moving further.
