SL 2011 FP1 Business Portal Project Drilldown

I'm hoping someone's memory is longer than mine. Client is still on SL  2011 FP1 (doing my best to get them to upgrade) and uses Business Portal. They have one project on which they are unable to drilldown on the activity. Where do I look to figure this out?

They are able to drilldown to other projects.
This is not a new project, they've drilled into it in the past.
On further query of the client,  they can drill down on some account categories, but not others.
Is there a limit to how much data that BP can handle on the drilldown? The two categories causing issues are the two most active with the most records.
Thanks for any help!

Good afternoon, Jana. It appears to be around 3000 records for the project/acct category combination. This project seems to be the only one to have reached that limit, and that only for two acct categories.

Below is the message that we're seeing, which makes me think that there is a limit set somewhere. The website isn't under maintenance, and any other kind of error (other than a record count) would affect all projects I believe.

The website cannot display the page

    HTTP 500

      Most likely causes:

    • The website is under maintenance.

    • The website has a programming error.

      What you can try:

      Refresh the page.

Go back to the previous page.

    Dear Stuart,

One way to test if its a limit is to create a test project with an account category that has a similar number of lines.

You don't say how many lines, I think there could be a limit, but I don't know what that would be.  I would assume that they have years of data.  Since BP is no longer being maintained I agree its time to upgrade.

    Does it timeout or anything?

    Best Regards,

    Jana MacDonald
