We have a customer who is running AX2009. Recently they are getting more and more feedback from different customers that they can't read the PDF file that was send to them (invoice, order confirmation). Their customer sees PDF like below when they open it.
When our customer or I myself open the same PDF file were are able to read it just fine. As not everyone is having these issues, my first conclusion is that is related to the system of the person who is opening the PDF document. However they are able to open other PDF files just fine, so it might be related to the PDF file AX2009 creates.
The PDF files that are send do not have embedded fonts. They have always been send like this and hasn't been an issue before. When they do create the PDF with embedded font, the customer can read the document just fine, but the PDF blows up in size, which would be my last resort to fix this.
Any ideas why only some people would start experiencing this behavior? Thanks.
I remember it was caused by fonts. You can try your luck with other fonts. If there is a image/logo in the report, they may have the source of the problem.
