Automatic Posting of Vendor Invoice Through Workflow

Hello Everyone,

After setting up the approvals on the workflow, I dragged the auto post invoice node so that the invoice automatically posts once its approved.

But I keep getting a stopped error message on the workflow. What am I suppose 2 do to make the functionality work.

Hi Dammy,

Can you tell if the Stopped error provides some more information? This can be seen in the Workflow history form or probably the Windows event logs on the AOS server.

Hi Dammy,

This is probably not related to automated posting, but it is an SQL error stating that something is wrong.

It can be related to a not synchronized database, a failover if you have configured always on.

Also it can be caused by having eXtensible data security enabled. I currently have seen an issue at a customer.

The SQL statement above is not complete, so probably it has be trimmed somewhere and then causes the error.

First try to synchronize the database, do a CIL compilation and restart AOS instances.

Sorry to step in to other post .

Does it post automatically once it is approved or do i need to create any separate batch job to post these approved journals in Ax 2012 ?

@lally, d idea is 4 it 2 automatically post when d workflow is completed. So d node should be d last b4 d end node.

I am clear about the Post node .

The question is do i need to create any separate batch job to post these approved journals in Ax 2012 or system does it post automatically without any job involvement ?

I also got this one;

Stopped (error): Cannot insert multiple records in Vendor invoices (VendInvoiceInfoTable). The record already exists.

I don't know if what the cause is. I made the node b4 it an automatic approval.
