How to assign multiple Grid Records to Me or user/Team on home level just like we assign single record by using OOB Assign button

Hello all,

In Customer Service, we can assign a single incident record to our name or other user/Team by using OOB Assign button. But I cannot use the same button on the home level to select multiple Grid records and assign them to my name or any other user or Team.

Can anyone suggest if I can achieve below functionality with custom Assign button?

1. Select Multiple records of Grid.

2.Click on Custom Assign Button.

3.Display a form with look-up field just like we have for OOB Assign(I want it to work on UCI) and on click of Assign, records should assign.

Thanks in advance for your help on this!

    Hi,

OOB Assign button works for multiple records at a time. When you select multiple records from home page Assign button should be visible and you will be able to do what you are intend to do.

    Hello Bipin,

    Thanks for the solution!

I have a Home button and I am clicking it after selecting multiple grid records and my html web page is getting opened with 3 fields on it drop down, text field and a look-up. My Look-up field is not working on UCI as we have implemented a dialog for it and with this approach I can't assign my functionality. I want to replace this dialog with something else which works.

Can you please help me on this?

    Thanks!

    Hello,

You can check my posts that describe approaches you can use to design dialogs in new UCI:
