Hi all,
The below screen shot shows manager name.
But in this below time sheet the manager name is not coming.
This error is coming in some of the timesheets not for all time sheets. Do anyone faced this type of issue?
Can anyone has any clue why this issue is coming.

Are both cases under the same user? It seems to be a permission issue. Can you check it?

How is the manager identified?
Is there possibly a setup missing?

The submission dates are completely different. It looks like the old timesheet has been assigned, but a recent not. In that case, check if the Workflow message processing batch job is running. It might be an issue with your batch settings. When it was running, it should be assigned to a user or the instance should end in an error when there was no user found or when the approver does not have sufficient access rights.

Manager name is identified by the User Id and Name.
No all the required setup is done and working.

Do you have sufficient rights to open the workflow designer?
If so, I would recommend having a look at how the workflow is configured.
Might be the case that the assignment of a task/workflow element is not complete.
In the System administration menu, there is a form called 'Batch jobs'. You can open this form and search for a "workflow message processing" batch job. If you found it, you can see the next run date/time. If this is in the past, it is probably not running. Then you have to check the batch server settings and the status of the batch job. If the status of the batch job is not 'waiting', there might be something wrong. When the status is running, check the start date/time. If it is a date in the past, the job might got stuck.
Batch job is running fine. The status is waiting.
If other timesheet messages are being assigned correctly, it might be related to a data issue. Do you know if there was an issue with this timesheet and someone tried to fix data or do a resubmission?
