NAV 2009 compatible with Windows 2012 Server Foundation

Hello experts!

I have a question. I need to know if dynamics NAV 2009 R2 is compatible with Windows 2012 Server Foundation.

I have found the following link in the NAVTeam blog confirming the support for Windows Server 2012, but it does not get into specifics with the editions.

I guess it is fair to assume that it is supported, for it does not discriminate any edition, but still I would like reassurance.

More than a link saying that Windows 2012 Server is supported I would like to know if someone has already faced this scenario with NAV2009 R2.

    Yes!! It's compatible :-)

    The limitation of the Foundation Edition is just for the OS (in terms of connections, hardware resources, etc.).

    Hi my friend,

    It's compatible. One of my customer is using Windows 2012, SQL Server 2014 and NAV 2009 R2 (Classic Client, version 6.00.32012). We have planned to upgrade their system next year.
