Third party cookie?

When I add D365 tracking code to my site is Dynamics setting a 3rd party cookie to do the tracking? If so, will this continue to work as 3rd party cookies are phased out?

I have the same question (0)

    Hi,

Please refer to the following documentation:

Thank you Nya. I am still not certain whether it will considered a third party cookie that is set.

    Hi Nya,

After internal testing, we need all 4 of the cookies below as Strictly Neccessary in order for a hosted form on our website to be submitted.

When Chrome blocks third-party later this year, this will stop the forms from being submitted and what is Microsoft doing to address the 3rd party cookie problem?

    Hi Chris,

Blocking of 3rd party cookies should not prevent your form from being submitted. Safari has already been blocking the 3rd party cookies for some time.

These cookies are used to identify the user so we can prefill the form with existing values. This is mostly needed for the Subscription centers to allow the users to unsubscribe or modify their contact data.

Nevertheless, we already have a replacement for the cookie concept, which uses an ID within the page URL. If the user opens the subscription center from a link in email, we pass the user identification in that link. This allows the subscription center to be prefilled with the customer data even if the browser blocks all cookies.

Please let me know if this resolved your issue.

    Thank you.

Good to know, however, if you do not set the 79f and 319a cookies as "strictly necessary cookies", the 365 forms will not load when adding the forms to our external website via an iframe.
