WO Qty Required remains unchanged when Current Quantity in Work Order updated

Hi guys,

I'm new to SL customization and I need help from the experts on this community.

I've have WO Qty Required called from subassembly (Build Only) remains unchanged once the Current Qty (Qty to Build) has been revised. While some component

recalculated as per normal based on revised Current Qty.

Scenario:

A Work Order is created with two subassembly: BOM: 0Retro24 & BOM: ORAssembly with Current Quantity = 1. Revised the Current Quantity = 2.

The WO Qty Required of those components subassembly BOM: 0Retro24 recalculated by times 2 while for WO Qty Required of components subassembly BOM: ORAssembly remains unchanged.

Is the recalculation is what the Dynamics SL intended or is this bug?

Thanks,

Regards,

Farez

    Dear Farez,

Is a custom error page something you setup?

    What browser are you using?

Partner and CustomerSource do require logins, which is usually setup when your customersource account is created.

Here are the Support phone numbers you can call to have a case created for you

    Canada

    1-800-668-7975

    United States

    1-800-936-4900

    Hi,

    Thanks for the reply.

I'm apologize first for asking this question but where can I create a case in VB Tools support?

    I've found this mbs.microsoft.com/.../support

but needs to login to CustomerSource which I got this page error

    Server Error in '/' Application.

    Runtime Error

Description: An exception occurred while processing your request. Additionally, another exception occurred while executing the custom error page for the first exception. The request has been terminated.

    Thanks & Regards,

    Farez

    Hello Farez,

I'm going to suggest you create a case in VB Tools support (for Microsoft dynamics SL) for assistance.
