Hello all,

I have Dynamics AX 2012 R3 CU9, and i want to add Stamp Tax to Sales POS.

Example :

If the total to pay is greater than 10.000 I want to add a Stamp tax of 1,5% ( automatically calculate the Stamp tax )

And print this Stamp Tax in Sales Receipt

first for conditional stamp tax apply , you must do it from workflow or by customization ,

for your question on how to apply stamp tax on it is the same way as if it was a withholding tax , you add it in withholding tax codes screen and then group it in withholding tax groups with the withholding taxes codes

    Hi

it seems it is a sales tax as it will be collected from the customer , 1.5 % will be added on the sales price , you can create a sales tax code  adding it to item sales tax group.

Withholding tax is a different kind it is deducted from the vendor at the settlement time.

    Regards,

    Naser

You create a sales tax code,

On the Values form, "from" amount is 10,000

    rate is :1.5

Add this code to the sales tax group and item sales tax group used on the POS order.

that should work as you describe

(I am assuming 1.5 applies to the whole amount, not just the amount above 10000, and that amount is paid by the customer)
