"Edit in Excel" for Chart of Accounts

I am trying to bulk load my Chart of Accounts into Financials through the "Edit in Excel" feature but every time I try to connect to my instance through the Microsoft Dynamics Add-In, I'm getting a server config error.

The "Edit in Excel" has been working fine for me for Items and Customers but for some reason it refuses to work for Chart of Accounts.

Is there a workaround for this?

    Chris, these are my steps:

    1. Log into Financials

    2. Navigate to "Chart of Accounts" screen

    3. Click on "Edit in Excel"

    4. An excel file is downloaded and I open it up in Excel.

    5. I first receive the certification error in the first screenshot.

    6. After, I receive the second error.

Yes, I have been using "Edit in Excel" for my Customers and my Items.

    Hello,

Can you verify the repro steps?

    - Log into Financials

    - Navigate to the 'Chart of Accounts' screen

    - Click on 'Edit in Excel' at the top

You get the above error?  I'm unable to reproduce this problem and I've never seen anyone get this error before.  What is the error behind the Cert error in the first screenshot?  There may be a trust center setup issue specific to your environment\machine.  Does 'Edit in Excel' still work find in other areas of the product?

    Thanks,
    Chris
