Hello All Experts,

I have a requirement wherein i need to do below .

A patient enters into the hospital and comes to the reception.

Receptionists ask the user to give details and check the appropriate doctor and make an appointment with the patient.

How can i achieve this functionality using crm.

Hi,

It can be achieved using Dynamics 365(CRM).

Dynamics 355 does have some modules developed by Microsoft and we can use those modules to fulfill our requirements.

The Field Service module is the best module for described requirements.

- You can create a bookable resource as Doctors.
- Patient as a contact.
- Receptionist as a user's in Dynamics 365.
- Hospital as location.
- Capture the basic details in a work order. Can be renamed to any meaningful name depending upon business requirements.
- Capture the patient requirements as work order requirements.
- Book the work order against doctors.

You can manage the booking from the schedule board as well.

There are some customizations needs to be done but it can fulfill your stated requirements.

Hello Prashant Shukla,

Thanks for your help and support, but i think service scheduling can be utilized with existing user in the CRM as resources.

what i am thinking can't we choose normal contacts as resources in the CRM for service scheduling to avoid the licenses and all that stuff.

You can create doctors as ‘Facility’ in the system. That is visible on service calendar as well.

Hello Prashant Shukla,

After choosing facilities also still my requirement is not fulfilled, I still need to add resources to the service since there needs to be a resource who should actually work on this diagnosis process with patient.

but I can only see the lookup for user or team etc. but it should be employee who can be used as resource to avoid licensing.

Hi,

Hope you are doing well!

For this requirement. we have perfect a solution. You can achieve this functionality by AppJetty's Calendar 365. Using Calendar 365, you can check which doctor is available at which time and also you can book(create) an appointment using Calendar 365. If you want to update an appointment by drag and drop in calendar. Receptionists can manage(add, edit, delete, assign appointment to the doctor) all the appointment of patients. Also doctor can view their appointment in the calendar.
