Excel add in error "could not load the file or assembly"

Hello,

I'm trying to upload data to the price disc journal using the Excel add in through the inbound port using the PricePriceDiscJournal service. But when I select the service in the Excel I get the following error "could not load the file or the assembly 'fiel:////C:\Users\mgracia\AppData\Local\Temp\4rezcjn.dll' the process could not access the file because it is being used by another process'

The dll exists in that folder, permissions are correct, I have tried to close the windows session and I have opened again the Excel, but I get the same error. Does anybody faced the same problem? AX2012 R2 CU7

A wild guess, but you can try to disable Hot swapping on the AOS: msdn.microsoft.com/.../gg889279.aspx

That looks very much like malware.  You should never see DLL's loading from your Temp directory under your user profile.

If you have IT support, involve them immediately.  If it were my computer, I wouldn't use it until the malware was removed.

I can actually see that the process is trying to use the client side generated dlls. Wonder why is that.

    Hot swapping is not enabled.

I have tested it from another computer and it is working, so there must be something related to my computer

You have malware.  Get your computer checked out.

Don't think so, I can delete the dll, the file is created each time I select the inbound port from the Excel Add In. If there is a malware, the dll should be created from elsewhere, not each time I select the inbound port from the Excel Add In

Right, it makes sense that it's using the dll from the client side folder of the VS assembly because it's being used from Excel. I imagined the Inbound port is properly configured o be used in Excel add-in.

You can try to use Handle (download from here technet.microsoft.com/.../bb896655.aspx) and see what process is using the file.

unfortunately the dll do not appears in the handle output

Are you having all the components on one machine (AOS, client, Excel) or on separate ones?
