Dynamics Excel Add-In InActive Everytime When Open Excel

Hi All,

 When i open excel anytime , Dynamics Excel tab is not there , then i go to Options >Add-In and Enabled it and then it works . But i have to do the same everytime when i open excel. Please suggest permanent solution.

    Do you have other add-ins? If one of them crashes or hangs, Excel could disable most of them that were running as per this troubleshooting post: stackoverflow.com/.../how-to-troubleshoot-why-excel-disables-an-add-in

    Do you close Excel gracefully, or kill the process?

    Do you have any automated AX processes that does an Excel export? Maybe that code is not closing Excel gracefully, which results in the disabled add-ons. You might be able to find more details in the Event log, or you could try to capture some crash dumps and analyze it with a developer.

    Does your AX client and Excel work in a RemoteApp through Remote Desktop Services (check with your System Administrator), or do you have other terminal servers like Citrix? Or does your AX and Excel run on your local PC?

    Hi Vilmos,

    I apologize, Now i changed my Title.

     Actually  what happened i tell you , Excel gets hangs after published data for 15-20 mins , it is in hangs state even records are published successfully into AX and then i had to close Excel  by Task Manager. And if i opened it again ,it show me popup like your Add-In is not working something like that . Then i found the solution I filtered my template using Filter Option in "Dynamics Ax Tab" , now its not gets hangs after publish.

     But Now when i open Excel every time , Dynamics Add-In tab is not there , so i have to Active it every time. And i am using AX Client and Excel Add-In through Remote Desktop Connection of my Client Server.

    Please suggest on this.

    From what I've found it needs registry hacking:

    scn.sap.com/.../3678736

    www.outlook-apps.com/inactive-outlook-add-ins

    social.technet.microsoft.com/.../prevent-excel-or-word-from-disabling-add-ins-automatically
