Invalid object name '.SY60101' - Missing tables from October 2019 Update

We recently just upgraded our system to the latest Dynamics GP 2018 R2. We applied the latest hot fix as well, which brought us to 18.2.1060 (MicrosoftDynamicsGP18-KB4538329-ENU.msp) however, we did not apply the update Microsoft Dynamics GP October 2019 Release-English Version: 18.2.1013 since we thought the hot fix was all inclusive and included all updates.

The problem we ran into is pastedimage1588718376875v1.pngpastedimage1588718392023v2.png

The update we missed included the addition of some tables (SY60101). We found this article shortly after: https://community.dynamics.com/gp/b/dynamicsgp/posts/table-column-and-parameter-changes-in-microsoft-dynamics-gp-october-2019-release-2019-year-end.

Is there a way to apply the update even though we already applied the hot fix? If not, is there a way for us to manually add the tables we are missing?

We have seen a couple of cases where, depending on what version of Dynamics GP we’re upgrading from, going to 18.2.xxxx for Dynamics GP, there is a Tables.New file that doesn’t get ran, which should be adding actually up to 7 new tables.

We have documented it as a ‘bug’, but again it depends on what version coming from and going to and sometimes we see all the tables created, sometimes none, and sometimes a couple.

Open a support case so that we can get you the scripts for these tables, for the version/build of Dynamics GP you're on. As it is a documented issue, you won't be charged for the case.

    Thanks

    Hi Derek,

It is asking me to buy a single support case for $500.

If you have access to CustomerSource or PartnerSOurce, the scripts are actually on the 'Upgrading to Microsoft Dynamics GP' hot topic under the notes......

    4. New tables missing after upgrade to GP 18.2. Upgrading from certain builds of Microsoft Dynamics GP 2016 to Microsoft Dynamics GP (18.2) is not creating new tables.  Example error you may get - Error when opening User Access SY60101 does not exist.  Download and run the these scripts.  Do the table script first, then the procs against the Dynamics (system) database.

The direct download link is here:

Let me know if this doesn't work for you.

    Thanks
