Customer wants to update the SQL 20109 because of Log4j Vulnerability in Great Plains - the only thing in they are on GP Version 18.0.1308.000  - I thought you had to be on 18.2 in order to go to SQL 2019.  If they update to the latest patch of SQL 2019 will that break GP

Per the System Requirements for Dynamics GP:

    Microsoft SQL Server 2022

    -Enterprise, Standard or Express

    (18.5 GP version or later)

    Microsoft SQL Server 2019

    -Enterprise, Standard or Express

    (18.2.1013 GP version or later)

According to this thread and Terry Heley back from the end of 2021, GP itself isn't susceptible to the Log4j vulnerability.

18.0.1308 is showing not compatible with SQL Server 2019 and I wouldn't risk trying to run an older version on SQL 2019.  Would your customer consider waiting to do the SQL migration at the same time when upgrading GP to at least 18.4?
