Manufacturing module in a nursery business

Posted on by 115

How should I setup the plants (finished goods) which are produced using raw materials (seeds, potting mix, fertilisers, containers), direct labour and machine hours. Ideally i would like to setup the finished goods as inventory and the system to work out the cost of sales based on the manufactured cost. I am very new to the manufacturing module.

Yes for each plant. Cause seeds for every plant will be different.

For Potting mix, fertiliser, container if it remains same for all plant ,then you can define a single BOM and add this to FG item component.

Thanks Manish. Would this be for every plant?

You need to define BOM(Bill of Material) for FG items and overhead cost for direct labour.
