AX 2012 virtual companies sharing address, not tax.

We have virtual companies setup to allow sharing across multiple legal entities.  We are sharing the customer card.  Can you please tell me if there is a way that we can share the customer card and addresses, but not share the tax field across legal entities?  We want to make sure each legal entity has their own tax data for the address.  So if legal entity A selects the address to the sales order, it will auto populate based on their sales tax schedule.  Then if legal entity B selects the same address to the sales order, it will auto populate the order with their sales tax.  Currently, it will default to the same tax because the customer table is setup for virtual companies. It would be very painful for users to have to select this every time they enter a transaction.   Please let me know of any way you can think of that I can make this work for us.  I really appreciate it.  THanks!

For your reference, I can't think of a way to achieve what you want without customization. But that just me.

Thats fine if it requires customizations, I am trying to get an idea of how I would even do that.  Any tips are appreciated.  Thanks.

    Hi cvandy23,

For the Sales Order default Sales Tax Group problem...

    1) I assume you already have a place in mind to store which sales tax group to use for each customer on a per-entity basis. (If necessary, create new table(s) to store this info.)

    2) Then, check the SalesTable.initFromCustTableIL method. This is the code which modify Sales Order base on customer master, add additional logic to modify the sales tax group to suit your need base on (1).

    (e.g. using post event handler)
