I do not want to implement workflows for purchase requisitions, so the question is: how do I convert a purchase requisition to a PO without any workflow in place? Is there any option to create an approved purchase requisition? Workflows change the status from draft to approved, and I am exploring any other possibility of doing it without the workflows.

Hi,

you can convert a purchase requisition to a purchase order without implementing workflows by using the "Purchase Requisition" form. You can manually change the status of the purchase requisition from "Draft" to "Approved" by editing the purchase requisition record and updating the status field. Once the purchase requisition is approved, you can then create a purchase order based on the approved requisition.

Hi,

Purchase Requisition workflow is mandatory and for your case, you can create a workflow and keep a auto approval so that when you create PR and submit, its auto approved.

According to documentation, WF is mandatory.

But you can setup auto approval ,so no action will be required.
