MS CRM 2016 DR setup with mirror DB.

Dear All,

We have a CRM 2016 Onpremise Production environment,say AP1 with Database DB2.

We also setup a server to use as a DR(Diaster recovery)say AP4 which is connected to Database DB2.

We have a Database server say DB4 to be used in case of DR movement.

Sql server mirroring is on from DB2 to DB4.

I know that in order to use DR with DB4 we need to import organization Db from DB 4 with deployment manager on AP4.

Followings are my questions.

As the DB4 is mirror copy of production database is it possible to change just connection sting on Ap4 server and Db4 config to make it work.

RE: MS CRM 2016 DR setup with mirror DB.

If you were to use clustering for your two DBs you would have failover and a single endpoint for your DB so you would not need to change any CRM connection.
