    Hi Ram,

If you have specific permissions to restrict, please remove the privilege that has permission to the menu item from the user.

    Please refer this Doc:docs.microsoft.com/.../walkthrough-using-roles-and-privileges-to-control-access-to-forms

In AX2012 if a menu item is not in any security privilege, it will be available for everyone. In D365FO it's the opposite, only system admin can see such menu items.

You should anyway always add all menu items to a privilege. Once you do that, then only system administrators and users who have access to that privilege will see the button. And if you don't grant any users access to that privilege, only System admin can see it.

    Hi Ram,

You can create a privileges for the relevant menu item and then add the privileges you created to the user's roles.

    Best Regards.

    Hi Ram,

You can drag an drop your menu item into the entry point of the new privilege and then assign it to the role.

RE: Restrict User to access Menuitem

    Hi Ram,

Best way to manage access is whatever you create add it into any specific privilege and create new privilege and role which is relevant to that only. So only those people can access who have that privilege & role and system admin users.

Please let us know if any other help is required.
