Hello to all,
As some of you might already know, Microsoft removed the ability to select the user during change request a long while ago
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/fin-ops-core/dev-itpro/get-started/removed-deprecated-features-platform-updates#platform-update-32
Is there a way to bring back this feature? I tried the code in the link below but it just gives compilation errors
Hi AT982020,
What is the reason for bringing this feature back? It was removed to prevent fraudulent actions.
A customer has a requirement where the change request is sometimes handled by someone other than the workflow originator
If you want to implement it as customization, then check if the extension model you created has references to the correct standard Dynamics 365 models. If model references are missing, you can expect build errors.
Turns out the reason for the errors is that I was mistakenly extending a class with same name as the intended form ("WorkflowWorkItemActionDialog"). Thanks André.
