Bank Reconciliation Difference

Dear Team,

When we are making the Bank Reconciliation through the Checkbook ID the GL balance & Checkbook balance has been differ from each other and there is no void Trx has been pending and GL balance reflecting as per bank book.

Hope i will get the help.

    Have you tried running the reconcile to GL routine to see if it shows what is missing?

    Hi

    Some assumptions:

    - Is the bank reconciliation window balancing to your bank statement?

    - There may be unposted transactions in Deposit Entry - Transactions --> Financial --> Bank Deposits.  Select your bank account and see if anything is waiting to deposit.  That will affect the chequebook balance but not the GL balance.

    Well, I know this is not advised but in worst case scenario, you can always play with the Subledger by not posting it to the ledger and adjusting the entries there. You can do it by unmarking post through option in your posting setup for the financials.
