In step 6 , please can you unpack how to edit the query, to look at the Human Resource Module, specifically the table which looks at the job type. If the user is a FTE/STE or CON?
I would like to automatically apply a specific role access to STE/FTE and than and other Role to Con, once the user has been created in D365.

Automatically assign users to roles
This procedure explains how system administrators can automatically assign users to roles, based on business data.
Go toNavigation pane > Modules > System administration > Security > Assign users to roles.
In the tree, select 'Accounting supervisor'. Select the role that you want to configure the rule for. In this example, select Accounting supervisor.
SelectAdd ruleto open the dialog menu.
In theSelect a querylist, find and select the desired record. Select the query to use for this rule.
In theMembership rule namelist, click the link in the selected row.
SelectEdit query. Edit the query, as needed.
SelectOK.
SelectRun automatic role assignment.
Go toNavigation pane > Modules > System administration > Users > Users(ideally in a separate browser tab).
Review the roles assigned to various users to confirm that the role assignment query was correct. Adjust and re-run if needed.
