Hi All
Unlike in the sales invoice , when it comes to service invoices I cannot find a way to cancel/credit existing posted invoice or pull posted invoice from a service credit screen to create a new one. Am I missing some functionality? How do you link the documents and reconcile?

We don't have the same functionality as Sales Invoice or Purchase for Service, but you cannot correct a service invoice by just deleting it. Please check the link

As mentioned this functionality is missing in the service module. You can suggest it as an idea here - Dynamics 365 Application Ideas
