Hi there, this may be a silly question but I'm trying to change the specific form my view takes you to when you click into it. I made a customer Contract view and I want it to take me to a different form than it usually does when a rep clicks into it. How would I go about doing that? Sorry if this has already been asked or I'm in the wrong spot
Hey Piyush,
I appreciate the reply and this trick but unfortunately it's not what I'm looking for. (Even though I could probably use it in other scenarios)
To better explain what I'm looking to do. I have two different types of contracts loaded into CRM. One being standard service contracts, and the second being lease contracts.
I created two views, the standard contract view says where type <> Lease and I have another contract view on the account screen that is only showing type = Lease
I want it so when they click on a contract line where type = Lease that it takes them to a different version of the form than the regular contract form. This is because I want to show different fields applicable to the lease that aren't applicable to regular contracts.
Hi Gray!
Here in this scenario, you can apply "security roles to a form", like below:
Assign security roles to a form to more finely control access
Revoke assess of other forms by using the "Display only to these selected security roles" option.
And using the same option "Display only to these selected security roles", provide an access to the only form, to which you want to take Rep into.
